Sedda Gibraltar: A Mediterranean Visual World

Project at a glance

  • The task. Develop a Mediterranean visual world for Sedda's Gibraltar outdoor collection, designed by Sven Dogs Studio, pairing its light construction with the feeling of a quiet summer day outdoors.
  • The purpose. Coordinate architecture, planting, light and color so individual product views belong to one coherent image series, suited to catalog, award submission and social use.
  • The benefits. A shared visual direction — moodboard through to finished renders — lets the collection's imagery extend across formats while staying recognizably one series.

A Mediterranean setting for Gibraltar

Stone surfaces, planting and warm colors form the basis of the outdoor furniture scenes, built to feel summery while keeping attention on the collection. The visual direction takes shape through specific choices — how close a sofa sits to a stone wall, where the shadow falls, which colors in the setting echo the upholstery — connecting the furniture with its surroundings rather than placing it in front of a backdrop.

From moodboards to a shared visual direction

Moodboards and material samples set the direction, used by our creative directors and designers to develop the spaces, color palette and camera views. The product references included specific outdoor fabrics and coated finishes, whose structure, upholstery colors and metal frames needed to stay distinct in Mediterranean light — sketches, comments and color studies supported the collaboration, with lighting and styling coordinated across views so wide shots and details work together.

The furniture behind the visual world

Sedda supplied photographs and drawings of the lounge furniture, from which we built photorealistic 3D models and matched surfaces to the material samples — the same product work that underpins the Mediterranean scenes. The gallery also shows the imagery in context: catalog spreads, an award presentation and a brand social post, following the visual direction from an individual rendering through to its publication.

Gibraltar: Red Dot winner 2025

The Gibraltar collection by Sven Dogs Studio received the 2025 Red Dot Award, recognizing the furniture design; our role was developing and producing the CGI imagery around it. The Mediterranean setting connects the different furniture views — color and light provide a common direction, while each camera angle reveals another aspect of the collection.
